Fish & Co
The Glass House
Seafood platter for 2. $37.90++
Just look at the tantalizing prawns, with the amber red prawn meat and the prawn tails waving at you. The mussels squashed at the side, the golden fries and grilled calamari peeking from the side of the fries, the crispy slab of fish smeared with cheese on the other side. This is really an appetizing way of arranging the various seafood on the platter. Plus the yellow fluffy raisin rice at the bottom of all the seafood. Looks aside, this seafood platter is quite value for money considering there are 4 different types of seafood in pretty large servings for about $19 for each person. The best out of the platter was the grilled calamari. Fish was thinner than the usual fish&chips, prawns were normal and a little difficult to tackle although half of the shell had been removed. Mussels were a little tough, but it was still nice to see shells in the platter:). All in all, quality of food was reasonable at this price:DD.
Food quality is still maintained in the Glass House, it being the first Fish & Co outlet. However, service had taken a nosedive. Service was often slow, and we were ignored on several occasions. But I'll be back, for the food:).
