Oreo cheesecake (left), coffee cake (right). I don't know the exact prices cos my sis bought the cakes for mum and me, but pine garden cakes (per slice) are quite reasonably charged and usually range from $2+ to $3+.

I liked the oreo cheesecake :). I like my cheesecakes cheesy and rich, and so usually I'll opt for plain cheesecake (e.g. New York cheesecake) without chocolate, coffee or whatsoever. But this oreo cheesecake did not compromise on the richness of the cheese. The oreo base was not too sweet and a little bitter actually, so it helped to neutralise overpowering cheesiness (it's conflicting but if you eat too much cheese it gets abit jelat). And it had the tinge of lemony taste in it! So it tasted like the homemade cheesecake I bake :).

The coffee cake was disappointing. It looked so pretty and yummy! But it was too normal, below average in fact cos I have pretty high expectations of Pine Garden cakes. This cake tasted like any normal cake you buy from normal neighbourhood bread-cum-cake shops. The texture was a bit rough as well. Not worthed the price.

I've tried their orange truffle and lychee martini cakes before and they were great:). They have quite a number of exotic sounding and exciting flavours for birthday cakes:). Call the number at least 2 days in advance to order.
