It was a fine HUMID tuesday, so C and I decided to have waffles before Katong laksa. Okay it actually had nothing to do with the humid bit and the laksa was a random thing, but the point was it was a tuesday. Half price waffles!
Large waffles with chocolate overload and rum&raisin ice cream at about $9. Both ice cream flavours are my personal favourites. Chocolate overload is rather self-explanatory, chocolatey and sticky to perfection. Rum & raisin as well, with the distinct rum taste and dried raisins in the ice cream. The waffles were great too. Fat and fluffy and hot and crispy (at the ends). My favourite waffles are still gelare's :).
P.S. Regarding ice cream flavours, I recommend strawberry cheesecake (other than aforesaid two flavours)! Soy chocolate obsession is quite weird, but it may differ from person to person ba. Pistachio is quite horrid=S. Cookies and cream is sadly normal. Other flavours like mango, wild strawberry, mint etcc are nothing special/ spectacular ba.
