Visits to IKEA are always fun:). Food plays an important part too^^ Furthermore, IKEA opened a branch in the East. Perfect location for lazy but hungry eastenders like me:).

The nondescript soup of the day: Broccoli.

The Swedish meatballs at $6.50 which I never fail to order. 10 supple beef meatballs with savoury gravy and cranberry jam [oh I just realised it's specifically lingonberry jam hehe] and steamed potatoes.

Poached salmon at $6.90 served with dollops of mustard sauce and steam potatoes and broccoli at the side. This is a very filling dish, with the thick serving of salmon and potatoes. The potatoes look boring but they actually complement both meatballs and salmon very well:), and they weren't not too soft or mushy, nor were they bland or tasteless.

Fried chicken wings at $1 each. The chicken wings were tender and succulent but I got a little bit turned off by the amount of oil. But most people love it still:D. Fried chicken wings are never meant to be sinful anyway=p. My personal favourite is still the ones at Bedok Central Blk 216's Nasi Lemak Stall (紅泥小廚). More about the nasi lemak next time(;.
Needless to say, I'll definitely be back for more! (meatballs!!) Yummms.
